Just me, my laptop, and an unhealthy obsession with building SEO tools that don’t suck. No corporate nonsense. No hidden agendas. Pure utility.
Why I Built This
A letter from your friendly neighborhood SEO ghost
Hey there,
I’ll keep it real with you — I started SearchBulb because I was tired of paying $200/month for SEO tools that felt like they were built in 2008.
I’m a solo developer who runs a few side projects (don’t we all?). Every time I needed to check a robots.txt file or generate schema markup, I had to choose between expensive subscriptions or sketchy, ad-filled tools.
So I built what I wished existed: clean, fast, powerful SEO tools that are actually free. No “free trial” traps. No limited features forcing upgrades. Just good tools that work.
Right now, it’s just me doing everything — writing code, fixing bugs, designing the UI (thanks YouTube tutorials), and responding to support emails at 2 AM.
Why anonymous? Honestly? I want the focus to be on the tools, not on me. I’m not building a personal brand here — I’m building utilities that should have existed already.
Maybe I’ll reveal myself someday. Maybe I won’t. Either way, I’m just happy you’re here using what I built.
Keep optimizing,
