We don’t want your data. Seriously.
The Short Version
SearchBulb is built by a solo developer who hates invasive tracking as much as you do. This privacy policy explains what we don’t collect, what we minimally process, and how we keep your data safe.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t track you across the web. We don’t use cookies for advertising. We can’t see what websites you analyze with our tools.
What We Collect (Spoiler: Almost Nothing)
When you use our SEO tools, here’s what happens to your data:
- Tool Usage: When you analyze a URL, that data is processed temporarily to give you results, then immediately forgotten.
- No Storage: We don’t store the websites you analyze or the reports you generate.
- No Analytics: We don’t use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.
- Logs: Our server logs contain minimal info (IP address, timestamp) for security only, deleted after 7 days.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use zero tracking cookies. The only cookies we might use are:
- Essential Cookies: To keep you logged in (if you create an account in the future).
- Preference Cookies: To remember your dark mode preference.
That’s it. No advertising cookies. No “performance” tracking. No sneaky stuff.
Third Parties
We don’t share your data with third parties. Period. Our tools don’t integrate with:
- Google Analytics or any analytics providers
- Advertising networks
- Social media tracking pixels
- Data brokers
We use Vercel for hosting (they’re GDPR compliant and only process data to serve the website).
Data Security
While we’re a small operation, we take security seriously:
- HTTPS encryption on all pages
- No database of user activity to get hacked
- No personal information stored that could be breached
We’re a solo indie project, not a mega-corporation with a security team. Use common sense. Don’t input highly sensitive proprietary data into free online tools (ours or anyone else’s).
